How to delete your data

To delete your data, email hi@chatsnag.com from the email address on your ChatSnag account. We use the account address to confirm the request is really yours.

What gets deleted

When we process your request, we remove:

• Your ChatSnag account record.
• Your encrypted Instagram access tokens.
• Your automations.
• Your stored comment and DM activity.

How long it takes

We complete deletion within 30 days of your request and confirm by reply. Deletion is handled through your emailed request, so there is nothing to configure in the app.

Revoke Instagram access

You can also revoke ChatSnag's access at any time from your Instagram settings, under Apps and Websites. Revoking invalidates the access token immediately. After you revoke access, email hi@chatsnag.com to request deletion of any remaining records, and we will complete it within the same 30-day window.
